Kimberly Richardson is the President and Founder of Widows of Opportunity™, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Columbia, SC. In addition to leading this organization, Kimberly also serves as a Public Speaker and has been featured on various events to share her story with the world. 

Kimberly received a Certificate of Appreciation from the former SC Governor Nikki Haley, now US Ambassador. Kimberly was nominated and won the Jefferson Awards for their Public Service, Woman of the Year with the Stevie Awards and nominated by First Women in London for her Public Service. 

Kimberly lost her husband in a car accident at the age of 24 and started this organization to provide support to widows that she did not receive. She began in 2011 with only four widows, and currently has an audience of overplus additional widows in thirty-four states and eight countries. We are truly international and worldwide!
