Kimberly Richardson is the Founder and President of Widows of Opportunity™, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals navigating grief and loss.

After losing her husband in a car accident at the age of 24, Kimberly experienced firsthand the challenges of grieving without the support and resources she needed. That experience became the foundation for Widows of Opportunity, which she founded in 2011.

What began with a small group of widows has grown into an organization providing grief support, support groups, educational workshops, resources, and compassionate spaces for people experiencing loss.

Kimberly is also a public speaker and advocate for grief awareness, sharing her personal journey and professional experience to help others understand that grief does not have to be faced alone.

Her work has been recognized through numerous honors, including the Jefferson Award for Public Service and recognition from former South Carolina Governor and U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley. She has also been recognized by the Stevie Awards for Women in Business and featured by various television, radio, and print media outlets.

Kimberly's mission is simple: to help people navigate loss, find support, and discover the strength to move forward.
